In order to guarantee the optimal operation of purification plants, the technique of separation of floating substances in sewage, and the construction technology of screens have been developed to obtain higher and higher filtration levels. As a consequence, the quantity of screening has increased as well as their removal costs. Therefore, it is extremely necessary to reduce the screened residuals volume through compacting and washing of organic particles process. Through the shafted compactor the residuals deriving from purification plants and industrial installations are reduced to their minimum volume, then dehydrated and organic particles.
